Community Conversations: PGNA Volunteer Opportunities

We are reaching out to you to participate in a community conversation focused on the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood, with an emphasis on gathering, coordinating, and effectively utilizing volunteers to support local efforts.

The conversation will take place as part of the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood Association gathering, and we’re intentionally bringing together nonprofits, residents, and community partners to share perspectives, identify gaps, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Event details:

This is intended to be a practical, relationship-building discussion—not a presentation—where organizations can:

  • Connect with other nonprofits and neighborhood leaders

  • Share volunteer needs and best practices

  • Help shape how volunteers can be better mobilized in Powellhurst-Gilbert
